Session 1
🔄 Last Updated: 05/20/2026: Previous Session 1 Documment
Opening:
- Welcome to join our Bible study, brother and sisters. So happy to see so many of you here. God bless your seeking heart! My name is ⬜⬜⬜ and I will be the preacher for our Bible study group for the next 8 days.
- After believing in the Lord, we all carry hopes in our hearts, right? But what's your greatest hope? A lot of people say their biggest hope is to welcome the Lord. Why is that people's biggest hope? Well, it's because once we welcome the Lord, many of our dreams can come true, and we can enter the kingdom of heaven. If we believe in the Lord but fail to welcome Him, it will surely be an eternal regret.
- So, what are the signs we should be looking for when the Lord returns in the last days? Two thousand years ago, the Lord Jesus Himself prophesied:
📖 “And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places” (Matthew 24:6–7)
❓ Brothers and sisters, what do you think? Are these prophecies being fulfilled right now? Do you feel like we're living in the last days?
- I see a lot of you sharing "yes."
- 🖼️ Look at the world around us today. The war between Russia and Ukraine that started in 2022 is still dragging on with no end in sight. In the Middle East, the standoff between the US and Iran continues and things could blow up at any second. And what about plagues? We've all lived through it. The COVID-19 pandemic hit almost every corner of the globe, and to this day, people are still being infected. Now, we are seeing outbreaks of Hantavirus and Ebola on the rise. Disasters are happening left and right. Think back to the Turkey-Syria earthquake in 2023; it leveled cities in seconds. While one part of the world parches under extreme heat and drought, another is being overwhelmed by nonstop floods.
- On top of it all, we are facing a historic food crisis. The UN warns of massive shortages and some places are already running out of food. All of these signs show us that we are definitely in the last days.

- 🖼️ Today, Christians are more eager than ever for the Lord Jesus to return—because we know that welcoming Him is our only hope to be protected during these disasters. But have you really thought about how the Lord is actually going to come in the last days? And how, exactly, are we supposed to welcome His return?

- Now, some people might say, 'Hey, that's not for us to worry about. The Lord will come when He comes, and that's it!' 🖼️ But think about this, brothers and sisters. When the Bible talks about welcoming the Lord, it tells us the story of the wise and foolish virgins. The wise virgins prepared their oil and welcomed the bridegroom and the foolish virgins didn't. So, what actually makes a virgin wise? What does it truly mean to 'prepare oil'? The Lord Jesus gave us the answer when He said:
📖 “He that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened” (Matthew 7:8)
- You see, the wise virgins aren't just sitting around waiting. They are actively seeking the truth, preparing for the Lord's coming. But the foolish ones? They are lukewarm. They stubbornly hold onto their own ideas and imaginations, never bothering to seek to understand the Lord's plan or His will. So, even though they are also 'waiting,' they are going to miss their chance to welcome Him completely.
- Brothers and sisters, this isn't just another Bible study. We're going to learn about the important matter of the Lord's coming. This is about whether we will welcome Him or be left behind. Do you want to survive the great disasters? 🖼️ Do you want to be a wise virgin who has the oil ready? Do you want to welcome the Lord’s return and gain a wonderful destination? I see a lot of you saying yes! If that is true, then what we're covering today is absolutely critical for every single one of us.
Teach them how to check messages:

Prophecies of Lord Jesus

- 🖼️ So, how exactly is the Lord going to come in the last days? Most believers may say, "Well, everyone knows the Lord will come on a cloud." They point to Revelation 1:7, which says,
📖 “Behold, He comes with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him” (Revelation 1:7)
- Based on this, most people picture the trumpets sounding and the Lord coming on a cloud in visible glory! That is absolutely going to happen. No doubt about it.
- But have you ever stopped to wonder if that is the only way He's coming? Think about it: what actually happens when the Lord Jesus comes on a cloud? 🖼️ The verse says, “all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him.” Logically, wouldn't the Lord coming on a cloud be a day of massive celebration? Why would everyone be wailing? There's a real mystery here. The truth is, the Lord appearing on a cloud will happen, but it's not the only way He's coming.
- There are so many prophecies in the Bible about the Lord's return.
❓ Should we just look at one or two verses and decide He's coming on a cloud, or should we be paying attention to all the prophecies about His return?
- Exactly! We should pay attention to all of them. If we just read one or two verses and say the Lord is only going to come on a cloud, we are jumping to conclusions. We could easily miss our chance to welcome the Lord and end up being eliminated by Him. So first, let’s take a step back and really look at the other prophecies about the Lord's return in the last days. When we do that, we'll find a lot of new enlightenment.
- The Bible has a lot of prophecies about the Lord's return—some from prophets, some from angels, and some from the Lord Jesus Himself.
❓ So, if we want to know how the Lord is really going to come, whose prophecies do you think are the most accurate?
- That’s right—the words of Jesus Himself. But look at the religious world today; most people only quote prophecies from men and are all waiting for the Lord to appear publicly on a cloud, but they're completely ignoring what Jesus said Himself. To welcome the Lord, we have to go by His own words. That is the only way we will be able to welcome Him. So next, let's look at what the Lord Jesus personally prophesied.
- But before I share these prophecies, I want to make two things very clear:
📌 The verses we are about to read are all about the second coming of the Lord Jesus in the last days—not what happened 2,000 years ago.
📌 These are not the words of men or angels—these are the Lord Jesus' own personal words.
- Are you ready? Let's begin.
📖 “As the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even to the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” (Matthew 24:27).
📖 “For as the lightning, that lightens out of the one part under heaven, shines to the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in His day. But first must He suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation” (Luke 17:24–25).
📖 “Therefore be you also ready: for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man comes” (Matthew 24:44).
📖 “As the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” (Matthew 24:37).
📖 “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him” (Matthew 25:6).
📖 “If therefore you shall not watch, I will come on you as a thief, and you shall not know what hour I will come on you” (Revelation 3:3).
📖 “Behold, I come as a thief” (Revelation 16:15).
📖 “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hears My voice, and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20).
❓ In all these prophecies from the Lord Jesus Himself, does He ever mention coming down on a cloud for everyone to see?
- Nope. Not once.
- So, the Lord's return isn't limited to the one way we've always imagined. In fact, these verses keep highlighting four key points:

📌 The Son of Man is coming.
📌 He's coming like a thief.
📌 We have to listen for God's voice.
📌 He'll be rejected by this generation.
- 🖼️ What does it really mean that the "Son of Man comes"? What's the meaning that He is coming "like a thief"? Why is listening for God's voice the only way to welcome the Lord? And why would the Lord be rejected again when He returns? There's a great mystery here, so let's dive in and unpack it together.
The Son of Man is coming:
- 🖼️ All these prophecies mention "the Son of man comes" or "the coming of the Son of man." But what exactly is the Son of man?
❓Question: What is the Son of man?
A. God’s Spirit or a spiritual body, very supernatural.
B. Born of flesh, who looks human and goes through a normal process of growing up—ordinary and normal.
C. I'm not sure.
Correct Answer ✅: B. Born of flesh, who looks human and goes through a normal process of growing up—ordinary and normal.

-
"The Son of man" refers to a person born of a human, with normal humanity and a normal growth process. If it were a Spirit, you couldn't call it the "Son of man." For example, Jehovah God is a Spirit—we can't see or touch Him, so He isn't called the "Son of man." Some people have seen angels; angels are spiritual beings, so you can't call them the "Son of man" either. "The Son of man" specifically refers to God become flesh. On the outside, He looks like a regular person. He's born of a human, grows up normally, and lives a normal life with normal needs like eating, dressing, and sleeping. That's what the Son of man is. Think of the Lord Jesus—from the outside, there was nothing special about Him. He was a normal, ordinary person living among men.
-
The Lord Jesus prophesied that He would return as the Son of man in the last days. This means He will become flesh a second time to save us.
📌 When we say God becomes flesh, it means God's very substance takes on a physical body; God becomes a man.
- Basically, the God of heaven puts on a human body and becomes a person. He has a physical body and normal humanity, with nothing supernatural about Him at all. You can see Him, you can touch Him, and He genuinely lives among people, living life right alongside us. 🖼️ So, when the Lord Jesus talked about "the coming of the Son of man," He was talking about God returning in the last days by becoming flesh a second time.
📌 “the coming of the Son of man”= God becoming flesh a second time
- Now, some people might wonder, "If He really becomes flesh again, why didn't the prophecies just say 'God will become flesh'? Why say 'the Son of man will appear'?" Well, that's just how prophecies work. They're always a bit mysterious. If everything were spelled out plainly, it wouldn't be a prophecy anymore; it'd just be a plain statement. But those who are truly seeking will dig deeper into that term "Son of man." Through that, they might get some enlightenment and realize that "Son of man" means God become flesh.
- I know this might be the first time you're hearing this, but let's not jump to any conclusions just yet. I really hope you'll all keep listening with a humble heart. As we go on, you'll see even more proof that God truly returns by becoming flesh a second time in the last days.
Be rejected by this generation again
- The Lord Jesus also prophesied:
📖 “For as the lightning, that lightens out of the one part under heaven, shines to the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in His day. But first must He suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation” (Luke 17:24–25)
- It says right here, "first must He suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation." This is even more proof that the Lord will become flesh again.
- Think about it: It's only because God becomes the Son of man again—appearing among us looking completely normal and ordinary—that some people would dare to write Him off as a regular person and actually condemn and resist Him. Also, the idea of God becoming flesh as the Son of man in the last days goes against people's expectations. Some people just can't wrap their heads around God becoming flesh a second time, and that's exactly why they will resist and condemn Him. That's why God suffers and is rejected by this generation all over again.
- If God didn't become flesh and instead showed up in the sky as a spirit, riding on a cloud for the whole world to see, who would dare to resist or reject Him? Nobody! And if that were the case, the prophecy "first must He suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation" would never come true. So, when the Lord Jesus returns, He will definitely become flesh again. There's no doubt about it.
Coming like a thief

The Bible also prophesies:
📖 “If therefore you shall not watch, I will come on you as a thief” (Revelation 3:3)
📖 “Behold, I come as a thief” (Revelation 16:15)
- So, some people ask, what does it mean that the Lord is coming "as a thief"? And how will that prophecy be fulfilled?
- Well, "coming as a thief" is obviously a metaphor for how the Lord returns. When you think of a "thief," you think of someone sneaking in quietly, without anyone noticing. It isn’t some big, public spectacle that the whole world knows about. It means that when the Lord returns in the last days, He'll arrive in secret, "like a thief."
- So, "coming like a thief" means two things:
📌 Nobody knows the day or the hour of the Lord's return.
📌 The Lord's identity will be hidden when He comes, and He won't be easy to spot or recognize.

- 🖼️ That's why the prophecy in Revelation, "I come as a thief," also means that when the Lord returns in the last days, He'll once again become flesh as the Son of man. Nobody knows the exact time He's coming, and on top of that, His identity won't be obvious. Even if people see Him, they won't recognize Him or know He's God.
📌 come like a thief = come in flesh = unexpected & unrecognized
❓Question: Two thousand years ago, when the Lord Jesus was working in the flesh, did people recognize Him just by looking at Him?
A. Yes.
B. No.
Correct Answer ✅: B. No.
- On the outside, the Lord Jesus was just an ordinary Son of man. It was really hard for people to recognize that He was God. If people could tell He was the Messiah just from His appearance, why would they have nailed Him to the cross? This shows you can't recognize God just by the outward appearance of His flesh.
- And there are plenty of examples in the Bible. Like the Samaritan woman at the well—when Jesus asked her for a drink, she just thought He was a regular stranger. Outwardly, the Son of man looks just like an ordinary person, and that's exactly why people can't recognize Him by sight. It's just like how you can't tell someone is a thief just by looking at them. So, the prophecy in Revelation, "I come as a thief," points directly to God becoming flesh a second time in the last days.
Listen to God's Voice
-
At this point, I think we all understand that God is returning as the Son of man in the last days. But then some people ask, "if the Lord returns as a normal, ordinary Son of man, and we can't tell He's God just by looking at Him, how are we supposed to recognize Him?" Well, the Lord Jesus gave us the answer.
-
The Lord Jesus said:
📖 “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27).
📖 “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hears My voice, and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20).

- So, looking at these prophecies,
❓ How do we welcome the Lord? Do we use our ears to listen, or our eyes to see?
- That's right, we use our ears to listen.
- And why can we only recognize the Lord by listening? This is even more proof that the Lord returns in the last days by becoming flesh—as the Son of man. Outwardly, He's just a regular person, completely normal and ordinary, not supernatural at all. If we just use our eyes, it's so easy to mistake the Lord for just an ordinary man and fail to recognize Him. It's only by listening to the Lord's voice—listening to the words He speaks and the truth He expresses—that we can recognize He as the return of the Lord Jesus.
- 🖼️ If the Lord only comes down on a cloud from heaven, everyone would see and recognize Him instantly. We wouldn't need to listen to His voice; we could just trust our eyes. From all this, we can be absolutely certain that the Lord returns by becoming flesh. The only way to recognize that this Son of man is Christ is by listening to His voice. You can only identify Him by the words He speaks. Just as the Lord Jesus said:
📖 “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27).
- So, when God becomes flesh a second time, there are going to be two kinds of people when it comes to welcoming the Lord: the wise virgins and the foolish virgins.
📌 The wise virgins are God's sheep.
- The wise virgins are God's sheep.
- The moment they hear the words coming from the Son of man, they feel that it's the truth, that it carries authority and power. And right then, in their hearts, they are certain that these words are God's voice. That's how the wise virgins hear God's voice and welcome the bridegroom.
📌 The foolish virgins, they're the goats.
- They can't recognize the Lord by listening to His voice. They only look at His outward appearance and judge that the Son of man is just an ordinary person. They even go so far as to condemn and reject Him. As a result, they will be abandoned by the Lord, and they'll end up weeping and gnashing their teeth in the great disasters.
Two ways
- The Lord appears and works in the flesh as the Son of man in secret arrival when He comes. The Lord Jesus personally prophesied this; it’s a fact no one can deny. But this leads a lot of people to ask:
📖 Revelation 1:7 says, “Behold, He comes with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him” (Revelation 1:7).
- You just said that the Lord Jesus will become flesh again as the Son of man to come to earth has a solid biblical basis, and I agree. But this verse in Revelation is clearly talking about the Lord descending on a cloud from heaven. Isn't that a contradiction? How do you explain that? It might seem like a contradiction at first, but in reality, there is no contradiction at all.
- Every single prophecy in the Bible must be fulfilled, but they happen in stages, step-by-step. Both "the coming of the Son of man" and "descending upon a cloud" will happen, but there's an order to it.
❓ So, which do you think comes first? The "appearance of the Son of man" or "descending upon a cloud"?
Correct Answer ✅: The Lord will return by first becoming flesh and arriving in secret to appear and do His work, and then He'll descend on a cloud to appear publicly.
- Brothers and sisters, we can see from these prophecies that the Lord's return is split into two stages: the secret arrival and public appearance.

- 🖼️ First, the Lord "coming like a thief" refers to God becoming flesh and arriving in secret to express the truth and carry out the work of judgment in the last days. The primary goal here is to make a group of overcomers, fulfilling the prophecy that "judgment must begin at the house of God." This work begins the moment God becomes flesh, arrives in secret, and starts expressing the truth to judge all mankind. First, He does the work of judgment beginning with the house of God. God purifies and saves those who hear His voice and come before Him, making them into overcomers.
-
🖼️ Then, God returns to Zion, and the great disasters begin . God uses these disasters to punish and destroy this old world, and that's when His work of judgment in the last days reaches its peak. Only after the great disasters will God appear publicly on a cloud to reward the good and punish the evil. At that point, God's work of judgment will be complete, and His kingdom will appear.
-
🖼️ So, the Lord's return happens in two steps: Before the disasters, He comes as the Son of man to express the truth and do the work of judgment. After the disasters, He descends on a cloud as a spiritual being to reward the good and punish the evil.
📌 Before the disasters: He comes in secret in the flesh, to make a group of overcomers—this is the salvation stage.
📌 After the disasters: He publicly descends on a cloud in a spiritual body to reward the good and punish the evil—this is the punishment stage.
- Both ways of the Lord’s return —coming secretly by becoming flesh as the Son of man, and publicly descending on a white cloud—are biblical prophecies, and both will be fulfilled, one after one. So, what are the differences between these two ways? And what happens if we only wait for the Lord to descend on a cloud, and we reject Him when He comes secretly like a thief?

- 🖼️ To figure this out, we've got to know what work the Lord will do when He arrives as the Son of man, like a thief. The Lord becomes flesh and comes in secret before the disasters to make a group of overcomers. They are the firstfruits that God will make complete, and only they are qualified to enter God's kingdom. So, the Lord becoming flesh and coming in secret is the salvation stage; it's the work of purifying and making people perfect.
- 🖼️ By the time we see the Lord descending on a cloud, He will have already finished His work of making the overcomers before the disasters. If we wait to welcome the Lord then, we'll have already missed our chance to be perfected into overcomers and firstfruits. It'll be too late, and we'll be eliminated. The loss we'll suffer will be huge! By the time we see the Lord Jesus descending on a cloud, it'll all be over. That's the exact moment when all nations will wail, which perfectly fulfills the prophecy in Revelation:
📖 “Behold, He comes with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him” (Revelation 1:7).
- Brothers and sisters, let's think about this question:
❓At which stage is it best for us to welcome the Lord?
A. Just wait for the Lord to descend on a cloud in the spiritual body.
B. When the Lord becomes flesh a second time and returns in secret.
C. I'm not sure.
Correct Answer ✅: B. When the Lord becomes flesh a second time and returns in secret.
- If we wait for the Lord to descend on a cloud after the disasters, we'll miss out on God's salvation in the last days and end up weeping and gnashing our teeth in the midst of the disasters.
Why Does God Become Flesh in the Last Days?
- Then some brothers and sisters might ask, "The Lord already appeared and worked as the Son of man two thousand years ago. Why does He have to become flesh again and appear as the Son of man in the last days? isn’t that totally unnecessary! Couldn’t God's Spirit just do the work!"
-
Brothers and sisters, honestly, what you're thinking now is exactly how I used to think. But we've to understand that whether God works as a Spirit or by becoming flesh isn't for any of us to decide; God Himself decides that. The method God chooses is always based on the needs of His work and the needs of corrupt humanity. God will use whatever method is best for His work and most beneficial for saving us. The work God is doing in the last days is the work of ending the age. He has a lot of work to do. It's not like people imagine, where He just shows up in the sky for a minute and that's it. First, we've got to be clear on exactly what work God is coming to do in the last days.
-
The Lord Jesus personally prophesied:
📖 “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth” (John 16:12–13).
📖 “For the Father judges no man, but has committed all judgment to the Son” (John 5:22).
📖 “And has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of man” (John 5:27).
📖 “And if any man hears My words, and believes not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejects Me, and accepts not My words, has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day” (John 12:47–48).
📖 “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth” (John 16:12–13).

God becomes flesh to express the truth:
- From this verse, we can see that two thousand years ago, the Lord had many things He wanted to tell us, but the people back then couldn't handle them. That is why He saved those words for the last days. The scriptures also mention that the Lord will use His word to judge people in the last days. This means that when the Lord returns , He will express the truth and do a stage of judgment work to purify and save a group of people, making them into overcomers—the firstfruits.
❓Question: When the Lord returns to express the truth and do the work of judgment, which way is easier for people to approach and understand Him—God becoming flesh as the Son of man, or appearing as a spirit?
A. God becomes flesh as the Son of man to speak to people, having a human appearance and speaking a human language.
B. God speaks to us directly from the sky.
C. I don't know.
Correct Answer ✅: A. God becomes flesh as the Son of man to speak to people, having a human appearance and speaking a human language.
- Most of you said that the Son of man appearing would be easier to approach and better for expressing the truth. But some people might ask, "Well, God's Spirit can also express the truth and speak to people, so why does He have to become flesh?"
- Well, think about it. If God's Spirit spoke directly to us, it would be easy for the Spirit, but could we as humans really withstand it? The Old Testament gives us a clear example of this:
📖 "And all the people saw the thunder, and the lightning, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. And they said to Moses, Speak you with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die" (Exodus 20:18–19)

- From this passage, we see that back in the Age of Law, when God appeared and spoke to people as a Spirit, there was thunder. What was the people's reaction?
❓Were they happy or scared?
- 🖼️ They were terrified!
- The Israelites back then were terrified. They told Moses, “Speak you with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die” (Exodus 20:19). So, if God appeared to people as a spirit, and the Spirit's voice boomed like thunder from the heavens, wouldn’t people be scared? Would they even dare to get close to the Spirit? People would be terrified. They wouldn't dare approach God, and if that's the case, He wouldn't be able to truly reach them. If people cannot get close to God, how could He express the truth to provide for and lead them?

- 🖼️ It's only when God becomes flesh that He can use human ways and human language to express the truth. That's what allows us to better understand His intentions. Think about when the Lord Jesus was working. He could actually be with people, talk to them face-to-face, and express the truth to provide for them anytime, anywhere. Sometimes He even used everyday examples to tell parables, like the parable of the fishing net or the parable of the leaven. Those who loved the truth could understand it much clearly through those simple stories. This shows us that God becoming flesh as the Son of man makes it easier to get close to people, It's a far better way to lead people to understand God's words and His will so they can be saved. Let's look at two passages of God's words, and it'll be even clearer.
✨ “God’s saving of man is not done directly using the method of the Spirit and the identity of the Spirit, for His Spirit can neither be touched nor seen by man, neither can man draw near. If He tried to save man directly using the perspective of the Spirit, man would be unable to receive His salvation. If God did not put on the outward form of a created man, there would be no way for man to receive this salvation. For man absolutely has no way of approaching Him, much as no one was able to go near the cloud of Jehovah. Only by becoming a created human being, that is, only by putting His Word into the body of flesh that He is about to become, can He personally work the Word into all who follow Him. Only then can man personally hear and see His Word, and moreover gain His Word, and by this means come to be fully saved”
✨ “This was the advantage of God becoming flesh: He could take advantage of mankind’s knowledge and use human language to speak to people, and to express His wishes. He explained or ‘translated’ to man His profound, divine language that people struggled to understand in human language, in a human way. This helped people understand His intentions and know what He wanted to do. He could also have conversations with people from the human perspective, using human language, and communicate with people in a way they understood. He could even speak and work using human language and knowledge so that people could feel God’s kindness and closeness, so that they could see His heart”
- How clearly these words explain it! It's incredibly meaningful for God to appear and work by becoming flesh as the Son of man. God does this entirely based on the needs of corrupt humanity. There's a mystery in all of this that people often struggle to understand. In the Age of Law, God's Spirit appeared and spoke to people, but those messages were simple and brief, given only occasionally.
📖 The Lord Jesus prophesied: “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth” (John 16:12–13).
- This verse tells us that the Lord Jesus has "many things" to say and will guide us into "all truth" in the last days. This means that to do the work of judgment in the last days, God has to express the truth and speak a whole lot of words to actually save people. That's why the Spirit speaking directly is not suitable for the work of the last days. Only by becoming flesh as the Son of man can He live among people, making Him approachable and easy to reach. This is so much more effective for people to understand the truth. At the same time, this “ordinary appearance” also exposes people's notions, imaginings, and corrupt dispositions. This way, God can express the truth that targets the very essence of people's corruption, solve their problems with corruption, and rescue them from Satan's power. So, God becoming flesh a second time in the last days is the greatest blessing for us living in these times.
God becoming flesh to reveal people, separating good from evil:
- Actually, there are many sides to the significance of God becoming flesh a second time to work in the last days. When God returns, He's here to do the work of judgment, which means using His words to purify, save, and perfect people. But at the same time, His work is meant to reveal and eliminate people, to sort everyone according to their kind—separating the sheep from the goats, the wheat from the tares, the good servants from the evil ones, ultimately rewarding the good and punishing the evil.
❓Question: Which way makes it easier to reveal people's true colors and their real attitude toward God—God appearing as a spirit, or God appearing in the flesh?
A. Appearing as a spirit.
B. Appearing in the flesh.
C. I'm not sure.
Correct Answer ✅: B. Appearing in the flesh.
- If God appeared as a spirit, everyone—regardless of whether they are good or evil—would simply fall to the ground and worship Him. How could you separate the good from the evil then?
- That's why God coming to work in the flesh reveals who people truly are.

- 🖼️ Those who seek the truth and listen for God's voice are the wise virgins. Even though God in the flesh looks ordinary and normal on the outside, the wise virgins can recognize Him as the return of the Lord Jesus simply by the truth He speaks. This perfectly fulfills what the Lord Jesus said:
📖 “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27).
- The foolish virgins, on the other hand, see that God in the flesh looks ordinary and normal. Because of this, they casually judge, condemn, and resist Him. They are the ones revealed to be evil, and they are the ones God will eliminate and punish. So, God becoming flesh a second time in the last days shows God’s immense wisdom, and it achieves the result of sorting everyone according to their kind.
- Alright, brothers and sisters, after reading the Lord Jesus’s own prophecies, I'm sure now you've a better understanding on how the Lord is coming in the last days and what kind of work He's bringing. Let's just recap:

- 🖼️ The Lord's return happens in two stages: arriving in secret and arriving publicly. Before the disasters, He comes as the Son of man to express the truth and do the work of judgment. After the disasters, He descends on a cloud in the spiritual body to reward the good and punish the evil.
📌 Before the great disasters: God becomes flesh a second time and arrives in secret to express the truth and do the work of judgment in the last days. And what's the main goal? To make a group of overcomers. God purifies and saves His sheep who hear His voice, making them into overcomers—the firstfruits. They will enter God's kingdom. This entire period is the salvation stage.
📌 After the great disasters: The Lord descends publicly on a white cloud. And that's when God will reward the good and punish the evil. All the disbelievers and false believers will be completely destroyed. Only the overcomers who were made perfect before the disasters will be brought into God's kingdom.
- So, if people can't accept the Son of man who comes in secret and just wait until they see the Lord Jesus descending on a cloud, it will already be too late. By then, the time for salvation has passed and the time for punishment has begun.
❓Question: How will God return in the last days?
A. He'll just come publicly on a cloud, because He already became flesh two thousand years ago.
B. He'll come in secret as a Spirit.
C. First, He'll become flesh and come in secret, and then He'll descend publicly on a cloud.
D. I'm not sure.
Correct Answer ✅: C. First, He'll become flesh and come in secret, and then He'll descend publicly on a cloud.
❓Question: How many times does God become flesh?
A. Only once, two thousand years ago.
B. Twice. The first time was two thousand years ago, and the second time is in the last days.
C. I'm not sure.
Correct Answer ✅: B. Twice. The first time was two thousand years ago, and the second time is in the last days.
❓Question: If you want to be a wise virgin, at which stage should you welcome the Lord?
A. When you see the Lord descending on a cloud as a spirit.
B. When the Lord returns by becoming flesh a second time, by recognizing and welcoming Him through His words.
C. I'm not sure.
Correct Answer ✅: B. When the Lord returns by becoming flesh a second time, by recognizing and welcoming Him through His words.
What Happens if You Believe in the Lord but Miss His Return?
- So, if we want to be wise virgins, we must welcome the Son of man who returns in secret before the disasters hit. That's exactly why the Lord repeatedly said,
📖 “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27).
- Why did He say that? He's telling us that during His secret arrival, we need to learn how to listen to the truth expressed by God incarnate in order to welcome Him. Because when the Son of man arrives in secret, He's going to guide us into all truth, save us, and give us His promises.
- However, when He descends publicly on a cloud, He's coming to carry out the work of punishment. That is why the Lord tells us to stay awake and wait to welcome His secret arrival. If we come to believe just by hearing this Son of man expressing the truth—before we even see Him on a cloud—we are truly blessed. We get the chance to be perfected into overcomers, the firstfruits. That's the greatest blessing.
- But if we insist on waiting until we physically see the Lord on a cloud to believe, not only do we lose the blessing of being made perfect by God, but we'll also be in big trouble. 🖼️ We'll end up just like Thomas. It's just like the Lord Jesus said:

📖 “Because you have seen Me, you have believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed” (John 20:29).
- Finally, let's read one more passage:
✨ “Many people may not care what I say, but I still want to tell every so-called saint who follows Jesus that, when you see Jesus descend from the heaven upon a white cloud with your own eyes, this will be the public appearance of the Sun of righteousness. Perhaps that will be a time of great excitement for you, yet you should know that the time when you witness Jesus descend from the heaven is also the time when you go down to hell to be punished. That will be the time of the end of God’s management plan and it will be when God rewards the good and punishes the evil. For the judgment of God will have ended before man sees signs, when there is only the expression of truth. Those who accept the truth and do not seek signs, and thus have been purified, shall have been brought before the throne of God and entered the Creator’s embrace. Only those who persist in the belief that ‘The Jesus who does not ride upon a white cloud is a false christ’ shall be subjected to everlasting punishment, for they only believe in the Jesus who exhibits signs, but do not acknowledge the Jesus who expresses severe judgment and releases the life and the true way. And so it can only be that Jesus deals with them when He openly returns upon a white cloud. They are too stubborn, too confident in themselves, too arrogant. How could such degenerates be rewarded by Jesus? The return of Jesus is a great salvation for those who are capable of accepting the truth, but for those who are unable to accept the truth it is a sign of condemnation. You should choose your own path, and should not blaspheme against the Holy Spirit and reject the truth. You should not be an ignorant and arrogant person, but someone who submits to the guidance of the Holy Spirit and thirsts for and seeks the truth; only in this way will you benefit”
New is fake?
- After listening to today's fellowship, some of you might be a little hesitant. You might be thinking, "We've always been told the Lord will come on a cloud. Almost the entire religious world believes this. This is the first time I'm hearing that the Lord has to become flesh again. This idea is way too new; it's hard for me to accept."
- Well, let me ask you a question.
Does "new" automatically mean it's wrong?
Does "new" mean it's fake?
Did anything we talked about today go against the Bible?
Nope. Not at all.
- Because the Bible clearly prophesies two ways the Lord will return. This lines up perfectly with the prophecies. We need to let go of our own notions and imaginings and stop blindly defining how the Lord must come based on just one or two verses.
- Two thousand years ago, the Jewish people were desperately waiting for the Messiah, yet when the Lord Jesus actually arrived, they didn't recognize Him and nailed Him to the cross instead? It's because they had confined the Messiah within their own notions and imaginations. They latched onto a few specific lines from the prophecies and assumed the Messiah had to be born in a palace, like a king. But the way the Lord Jesus came was totally different from what they imagined and believed. They just couldn't let go of their own ideas, and so they failed to recognize Him. They nailed Him to the cross, committed a heinous sin, and completely missed out on the Lord's salvation. Their stubbornness, arrogance, overconfidence, and ignorance completely ruined them.
- And it's the exact same situation in the last days. If we stubbornly cling to our own imaginations, or just blindly believe whatever our pastors tell us, we're very likely to make the same mistake the Jews did. We'll be people who believe in the Lord but totally miss His return, losing out on His salvation in the last days. God's wisdom is higher than the heavens. His work isn't constrained by anyone. He works according to His own plan and what we truly need. Even if the entire human race is against it or fails to understand it, God will not change His plan.
- God becoming flesh a second time to appear and work is a huge blessing and salvation for us living in the last days. It shows God's love and concern for humanity. Every time God becomes flesh, it means He faces rejection from the world, but the ones who benefit are always us. If we say, "I just won't accept it because I don't get it," the ones who lose out in the end are ourselves. The Lord's return is the most important matter. I truly hope everyone treats this seriously and really looks into it. Whatever you do, don't miss this chance and live with regret for the rest of your life!

🖼️ Tomorrow at the same time, we’ll talk about the mystery of God’s judgment work.
-
There are over 200 prophecies about judgment in the Bible. This is one of the main works the Lord Jesus will do in the last days. The Bible says,
📖 “For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God” (1 Peter 4:17).
- So who is in God’s house? Believers or non-believers? — It’s believers.
- That brings up a few important questions:
- Why does judgment start with those who believe in God?
- If our sins have already been forgiven, why does the Lord still need to do judgment work in the last days?
- What does judgment have to do with entering the kingdom of heaven?
- How will the Lord Jesus carry out this judgment? How will He judge believers and non-believers?
- This judgment work is related to you, to me, to every one of us. It will determine our final outcome—where we will ultimately go, whether we enter the kingdom of heaven or not. So I really hope you won’t miss tomorrow’s topic. You might find the path to entering the kingdom of heaven.
❓Will you join us tomorrow?
A. Yes, same time.
B. Yes, but I need to change the time.
